There are several successful habits of highly effective intercessor.

It goes without saying that if you intend to be an effective mediator, you must cultivate a lifestyle of prayer and worship.

Here are some things that will help you cultivate such a lifestyle.

a) A time and place of prayer – a time and place of prayer speaks of your discipline and consistency in the encounter with God. It shows that you honor God and arecommitted to building your communion with the Holy Spirit!

In addition, we are creatures of habit and when you meet with God regularly your mind actually starts to anticipate the meeting and is preparing for this meeting.

As your regular prayer session draws near your mind literally begins to prepare to meet God and receive what he has to share with you. That is what faith is all about is like being in an atmosphere full of hope, ready and waiting to receiveGod!

This activity one aloow you explode with the power of God when you start to pray.

b) A habit of praising God – I am continually amazed, every Sunday morning at church, seen how it is possible for Christians to be in the manifest presence of God and not be moved to meet him physically .

I am even more amazed at how some of these same people cheer at a football match or cry at movies, while not defending them praising God by saying:they are not very emotional or expressive.

Firstly lets clarify a myth. You do not have to be very emotional or expressive hire openly about God! Praising God is above all an act of your will – you choose to rent! Whether or not you take a decision and put it into practice!

Here is some information that will facilitate the habit of praising God. There are seven (7) or climb the steps of praise that led to the experience of worship! Eachstage is typical of a different kind of praise or a different action in praise and is identified by a different Hebrew word.

For example, the first step of praise is identified by the word "Towdah" and means "to lift his hands as a sacrifice of thanksgiving." Right here where most people fail "Praise the school, they go through the entire church service on a sense of expectation to praise God that never happens.

In the Old Testament, the priest was actually taught how to praise God and the first thing we teach them is how "Towdah" SACRIFICIAL how to give praise! This means praise of God when you do not want, especially when you do not want! This is the first ascent of praise for the way the worship experience!

Ps 50:23 He who praises offereth (towdah) glorifies me, and him ordereth his conversation aright I will show the salvation of God.

The second stage> Praise is called "Yadah" and means "throw your hands intensively with respect." The meaning is almost the same as "Towdah" The main difference is indicated by the term "intensive". What this says is that it is not a sacrifice to raise your hands, but now it is a joy to do. In other words, the action itself, but with a different attitude!

Ps 107:15 Oh that men would praise (yadah) the Lord for his kindness and his wonderful works to the children of men.

Thethird stage is identified by the word halal and means "to boast, to rave, to celebrate, loudly fools." To put you in the picture gives the meaning of some of these words.

The word "rave" means "to speak at random, to talk with extreme enthusiasm, to move or advance violently," the word "heavy" means "noisily insistent" So when you see Sis. 'X' running around the pews or Bro. 'Y' jumping up at the back they are simply showingthird ascent of praise, which is called "halal".

Psalm 150:1 Praise (halal) the Lord Praise God in his sanctuary, praise him in his powerful scope. Psalm 149:3 Let them praise (halal) his name in the dance …

The fourth ascent praise is characterized by the word "Shabach" and means "to cry, to respond in a loud voice, in order to triumph." This is what the Israeli army did not to break down the walls of Jericho, they wereordered "Shabach!

This is what you have to do sometimes when you've tried everything and nothing seems to work for you. You need to shout!

"Shabaching" is really comforting on the host of heaven to work on your behalf to bring to pass the things you've been praying about all along! And this should not be anything strange to us, we do in the natural all the time when we cheer our favorite team to win the championship or our favorite player to score that vital point! Now we must do it for Jesus – and for ourselves!

Psalm 145:4 One generation shall praise (Shabach) thy works to another and your deeds!.

The fifth dimension of worship is called "Zamar", meaning "to play a musical instrument, to celebrate in song and music, to sing praises." This is particularly interesting for me because it was not until we reach the fifth ascent of the praise that we see the music being introduced to the act of praise. YetSome people act as if you can not praise God without music!

The fact is, he is offering real person playing a musical instrument that makes sounds or melodies pleasing to God praise! Not the actual sounds or melodies in themselves.

The act of praising God is supposed to come from the person and is manifested by the skilled use of the camera! But that's what comes from within the person who is really accepted by God, not so muchmuch outside noise or melodies to be played. He accepts the music because of WHO she is taking and what the motive and attitude of the person is both.

Psalm 57:8-9 Awake my glory, awake harp and lyre, I will awaken the dawn! I'll give thanks, O Lord, among the nations, I will sing praises (Zamar) to thee among the nations.

The sixth area of praise is none other than "Barak" means "to kneel, to bless God as an act of worship." This where we beginFor silent before the Lord and nothing else seems to matter, the world around us disappears and everyone ceases to exist. We are caught in its presence and its own issues at the time! This is where our body, soul and mind are in preparation for the last dimension of praise!

Psalm 34:1 I will bless (Barak), the Lord at all times, his praise always on my lips.

Number seven is "Tehillah" which means "song of the spirit," he comes from a rootthe meaning of words, "to shine with the grace of God." So, in other words "Tehillah" is the realm of worship where God begins to answer the attention you've been showing him all along.

"Tehillah" is the seventh and final climb of praise, you begin to enter into worship!

Praise is giving you something to God – Worship is God who gives something to your reply! Praise is courting you God – Worship God loves your answer!

Icall praise and worship spiritual intercourse. Have not you Christians confess that Jesus is the lover of your sweet soul? Well, what do you mean by that? I'm just giving you an explanation of what you already feel on the inside and know to be true.

"Tehillah" is the experience of spiritual ecstasy of love to you and your Lord Jesus, that is what the act of worship really is!

Ps 22:3 But thou art holy, thou inhabitest praise (Tehillah) of Israel.

Isa61:3 To appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give them a crown for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise (Tehillah) for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of justice, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Praise and Worship draws you closer to God. In the atmosphere of worship where your mind is open to receive God's revelation. Revelation of God is a powerful and precise searchintercessory prayer.

A lifestyle of prayer and worship to help you become a very effective means.
